Infocenter Library
The predecessor of Infocenter and Library was the Computer Center, which was established in 1984. In order to enhance the service of Information Technology(IT) and network as well as the library, the Center was renamed the "Infocenter and Library" in 2002. The aims of the Infocenter and Library are to

1.handle the computerization of administration affairs.
2.provide various kinds of network services.
3.provide information and consulting services.
4.support the management of teaching and training of computer
basic courses.
Services
1.Provide network bandwidth(TANET+ADSL).
2.Offer seven latest multimedia PC classrooms for e-learning
and teaching.
3.Offer e-mail boxes for the faculty and students.
4.Provide online information retrieval system.
5.Services for consultation and maintenance of document
computer system.
6.Offer various kinds of servers including DNS, Web server,
Proxy server, etc.
7.Develop the distance network teaching and set up video meeting rooms.
8.Offer free computer training courses for the community residents.

Library
The main mission of our school library is to offer the following services for faculty and students of Nan-Jeon Technology Institute: to support teaching plans and research development, to fulfill the educational goals through teaching activities and to provide multiple information services.

Brief  History
The Infocenter and Library was established in March 2002. It is a seven-story building with a basement level. The library occupies the basement level to the fifth floor.

Holdings
1.Chinese and Foreign language books, bound periodicals and e-books: over 180,000 volumes.
2.Chinese and Foreign current periodicals: over 500 subscriptions
3.Audio-Visual Resources: over 2,000 units
4.Newspapers:10 subscriptions.
5.CD-Rom database.

The library automation system includes: circulation system, library cataloging and classification system CD-Rom database and online public access cataloging.
Readers can borrow, return, renew and reserve books at the Circulation Desk.

The library provides several online resources through the internet and NANET.
Readers can use E-Journals and database on campus or in the library.

4. Interlibrary loans
The library was a member of ROC "The Interlibrary loan Cooperation for Technological and Vocational Education Libraries". Readers can borrow books or request photocopies of journal articles from other libraries.

5. Reference Services
Reference librarians can help readers use reference books, online resources and facilities in the library  .

6.New Arrival Exhibition
Thirty-six new books are shown on "New Arrival" shelf every three weeks. Readers can reserve those books in advance during the period they are on display.
